Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Jennifer began taking drawing classes at the age of six. She attended Landon Middle School for drawing and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts as a drawing and painting major.
After high school she moved to New York City. In 2007 she received her Associates in Multimedia Art & Design from Borough of Manhattan Community College. In 2010 she received her Bachelor of Arts In Scientific Illustration from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
Currently she is living in New York City, and is still working as a botanical illustrator for the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.
